01/ Hunters at Sunset
A pair of life-size sculptures — a hunter with a spear and an alien creature — built as a single scene, with hundreds of welded parts in each.
The Story
The sculptures were photographed at sunset against the open landscape to show how the metal comes alive in natural light. Every plate, spring and metal ball in the body was chosen to create muscles, skin and armor.
02/ Horse Head
A horse head sculpture on a brake-disc base — with a camshaft for an eye, metal straps and a chain bridle.
The Story
A piece that shows how much emotion car parts can hold: the neck is built from layers of metal sheets, and the steel and green finish gives it an ancient, noble look.
